I would like to start out with an apology to all of our readers regarding the spelling, grammar and punctuation in last week’s editorial. I´m not offering any lame excuses, it´s something we should´ve caught ourselves before we went to print.

A special thank you goes out to Lyse and Phil Rioux from Manitoba for sharing a wonderful story about Colonia Magisterio, probably the poorest in all of Puerto Vallarta. The article is featured on page 11, truly a heartwarming and humanitarian account of how we (the human race) can make a difference if we choose to do so. Giving back to the community is a very rewarding experience and goes a long way. THANK YOU!

As most of you have noticed, there have been some major changes at the Tribune and there will be more to come. So far we feel the change has been for the better due to the feedback and opinions received by way of Facebook, e-mails and even phone calls. We appreciate all of your opinions and encourage you to keep them coming.

I would like to make it very clear that we are not only publishing the inquiries, comments or complaints but also responding to them. Publishing these comments and/or the responses hereto, are not and were not meant to ever discredit Heather Wilson or her accomplishments while she was with the Tribune. She is a fine journalist and we wish her the best.
